It’s that time of the year again - The National Wedding Show ‘season’ is upon us – and here at LifetimesMAG.com towers, it’s safe to say, we can’t wait!
There will be hundreds of experts and exhibitors specialising in everything from dresses to cakes to hen and stag parties at the upcoming shows at London Olympia (September 22-24) and the NEC in Birmingham (September 29-October 1).
Check out the image above to secure some complimentary tickets for London Olympia - but you don't have long as the offer expires this Thursday! If you're interested in attending the Show at the NEC, email us at info@lifetimesmag.com and we'll see what we can do ;)
It goes without saying that we will be there at both shows, ready to tell people about how LifetimesMAG.com personalised wedding magazines can ‘make their memories last a lifetime’. However, with so many products and services packed into a single destination, whether you’re looking for the final touches or just want to peruse things for some inspiration – let’s be honest – it can all be a bit overwhelming.
Like wedding planning isn’t stressful enough, right? Well, luckily for you The Scribbler has asked those nice people at The National Wedding Show to offer some tips to make your day at the show as seamless and productive as possible.
The National Wedding Show team said that you don’t need to arrive particularly early to reap the benefits of the day – but it was noted that any scrumptious freebies from organisers and exhibitors might have disappeared by the afternoon! So, with that, we’ll see you all in the morning.
But really, timing doesn’t matter much – you can arrive early or late and still find what you’re looking for. It was strongly advised, however, that the spectacular catwalk shows should not be missed.
Here are three other useful snippets of advice from The National Wedding Show team:
“You may be tempted to dress to the nines in heels, but you’ll likely be spending a lot of time on your feet so perhaps don’t be tempted by the stilettos and go for something a bit comfier. Remember, The National Wedding Show does boast comfy areas where you can rest with a cheeky glass of bubbly.”
2. Don’t be scared – there’s something for every bride or groom-to-be
“We see a range of visitors from the browsers coming for inspiration, to the super-determined bridal party keen to tick off all the necessary wedding day supplies, and looking out for all the exclusive show offers and competitions.”
3. Check out the lists!
“Lists are always a good idea as there are so many suppliers, you don’t want to get too distracted if you have some serious wedding planning to do! We always publish a list of everyone who will be at the shows online for those you wish to check it out beforehand. You can find our London Olympia exhibitor list here.”
So, there it is, whether your big day is right around the corner, or you’ve got the newly-engaged excitement brewing, The National Wedding Show represents a day of exploration and fresh ideas.
A final word from the National Wedding Show team:
“Have fun, eat cake and get some snaps at some of our lovely photo booth suppliers! Join the conversation with #TNWS on Twitter and follow us on social media for live updates from the shows.”
And a final word from us…
Of course, the LifetimesMAG.com team will be there at London Olympia (Stand L14) and the NEC in Birmingham (Stand G12), so make sure you drop by to say hello!
